When Sending Games

Make sure your STORM lockers contain the proper structure for your exported video. To ensure this, check the following:

  • DVSport SD: your locker should have 3 avi files in it. The marks are inside those avi files
  • DVSport HD: your locker should have 3 mp4 files and 3 xml files, which carry the marks. They match 1 to 1.
  • XOS SD: your locker should have 3 mxf files in it. The marks are in the mxf files
  • XOS HD: your locker should have 3 mp4 files and 3 xml files, which carry the marks. They match 1 to 1.

When you receive a locker, make sure that it matches the above structure. If it doesn’t, let your trade partner know.

Note: If you are running storm and doing hd conversions on windows xp, the video may run at the wrong speed when viewed on your editor. This only affects some computers running Windows XP or 2003 server; it will not affect Windows 7 or 2008 server. It also only affects 720p video, not 1080i. If you see this issue, run your conversion on a Windows 7 computer. Run STRM on Windows 7 or you can use our free conversion tool Connect.
